Thomas Turek, DMD, a Connecticut native, graduated from Boston College and earned his dental degree and certificate in Endodontics from the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine. He has practiced endodontics in Waterbury since 1978. Dr. Turek is a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics and a past president of both the Dental Society of Greater Waterbury and the Connecticut Association of Endodontists. He helped establish the Mentor Program at the School of Dental Medicine which enables dental students to spend time volunteering in dental offices to learn about private practices and continues to be affiliated with this program. Dr. Turek enjoys the company of his partners and staff in providing patient care of the highest quality. He has an interest in keeping up with the latest technology and the use of the surgical operating microscope. Dr. Turek enjoys volunteering to provide care for the underserved at the Connecticut Mission of Mercy.
Dr. Turek's interests include flyfishing, running, the outdoors, sports, travel and history. Dr. Turek and his wife Jayne live in Woodbury and enjoy spending time with their daughters Lauren and Sara.
